This is an excellent book. I love that I can have it read to me as well with the kindle version. I highly reccomend this to anyone who wants to understand the Bible and God's love in a new and poignant way.

If you have not read Science & Health, I would highly recommend it as it is one of the lift altering books that is still around 150 years after it was written and still going strong because it helps so many.Is everything she says true, I don't know, but I do know that when you think about God and the wonderful works that are possible people get well. I have been healed twice of rather big problems because of this book alone once and the other time with the help of a Christian Science Practitioner. Many years ago i had one of my legs pulled out of joint, was bleeding and was unable to stand on the leg and yet 30 minutes after it was totally healed and this just from the information in this wonderful book. The second time I had a series of bloody noses which went on for a about a week or so and the last one was so bad that I had to hold pressure on the nose and when I let up it was a gusher and I called the practitioner and she on the phone talked with me about the truths in the book and in a short period, maybe 20-30 minutes my nose stopped and that was the end of it. I felt like I could get hit in the face and still not have to worry.There are a lot of wonderful books on healing, millions of people have seen results, some large, some small, but the most important thing is it works and the side effects, of which there are some, are one is made better morally, spiritually as well as physically.Read and enjoy, it will be a great help in whatever quest you are one.

The languaging is certainly out-dated and the book uses the traditional Christian motif, but if you can read through that, the content is astounding, radical and quite usable. What makes this book stand far above all subsequent posers is the simple fact that everything in this book has been tested and proven to an astounding degree! The principles and information in this book have been tried, tested and demonstrated by millions of people world-wide for a century and a half. No-one can ever claim that this book contains anything less than truth and a proven practical guide to health, abundance, peace and happiness. I personally have experienced hundreds of healings, large (miraculous) and small (yet oh, so meaningful) in all areas of my life from applying what's explained in this book. When you're tired of all the New Age (& LOA) fluff that simply doesn't work, dive into this book whole-heartedly. Read it very slowly (it's depth is uncharted) and work to comprehend it. Each and every paragraph warrants re-reading multiple times and pondering. This is the only book you will ever need to read for the rest of your life here, but it will require repeated re-reading. this is the real, old-school metaphysics, written by a true master.

I have a hard copy of this book, but recently found this for my kindle as well. I've been working my way through this intriguing and very deep work by the founder of Christian Science. It's comforting since I've been dealing with health issues, but I don't know how to interpret much of her writings or how to properly apply them in my life.

This is the textbook for Christian Science and will give new insights into Christianity, indeed all spiritual lineages. Groundbreaking--new theology.

Introduction to metaphysics of a high order. Mary Baker Eddy is an extraordinary teacher. May not be for everyone, but definitely worth a peek. .

Interesting read, It is an easy read with applicable principles. May not align with some mainstream ideology, but this is why Christian Scientists are different. Recommended for anyone simply looking to learn about other's belief systems.
