This is still by far the best study guide for interventional radiology. planning on taking th planning on taking the registry. Practice practice practi Practice practice practice. It's a shame that there's not an ebook for thi this, but co It's a shame that there's not an ebook for this, but considering it is out of print it is hard to find anyone who offers this, and I even checked with the publisher., hance

I challenged the RCIS exam last year...I used this book to help me successfully pass the exam. I found it very helpful!

The text was a very old version of the review manual. Certification exams are based on the most uptodate information in the industry and it is not acceptable to sell a product that is more that a few years old.

This was my prime exam guide for taking the VI exam. So I obviously had a copy which was awesome. Since then I've loaned it to someone and they thought it was great too- because I never got it back. So now even though I've passed the registry I am cross training new techs and this book would make an awesome tool. WHY is it no longer printed and being sold for the outrageous prices shown here. $900-$3100. REALLY!! Amazon- help us out here.

I found this book useful for preparing to take the ARRT exam. There is so much information that technologist need to pass this exam and this book gives a clear, concise overview of all the necessary information for technologists. The information contained in this book is easily understood, educational, and appropiately divided into each category. The pathology platforms were excellent in providing extra highlights into the areas involving angiography and related subjects. The question and answer sections were designed especially well for anyone preparing for an exam. The questions are written in a similar format as they are on the ARRT exam and the answers have complete explanations, for both right and wrong answers. Most of the diagrams and xray picures are good; however, some are difficult to interpret, due to reproduction or labelling quality. Overall this exam prep book is excellent and very level appropriate for technologists wanting to pass the CIT ARRT exam.

I plan on sitting for my boards in a couple months. I had borrowed this book from a co-worker. It is unfortunate that there is no Review from Appleton and Lange for Vascular Interventional Radiology, however, even though this book is much older, it is still a good reference to study from. Such as the First Chapter on Pharmacology and ECG's. The diagrams and anatomy images is this book are also good to study from. There are a few mistakes in the answers to some of the questions, maybe just a typo? But I just go back and double check what was in the chapter. And this book I think is better than the other book that is out there. Would like to have an updated one for Vascular Interventional from Appleton and Lange. All in all, its a good book.

Is this book really being sold for over 2k???? Absolutely ridiculous.....wanted to buy this to study for Registry. Other Registry Review books go for $150....I think Ill just go back to college for my Bachelor's degree, it's cheaper! VERY DISAPPOINTED AMAZON!!!!

This book is very good base line to direct you into each aspect of the feild in which you need to srudy. It does not go into great depth with every detail but does have questions and answers in the book which are very usefully. I believe this is a great starting tool when starting to study for CIT.
