I have read many books on conflict management, and I would rate this one the best. It gives a very good overview of the key topics, including conflict styles, interventions, power, etc. The Wilmot-Hocker Assessment Guide is a very useful tool to look at conflicts from many different perspectives. The chapter on Forgiveness and Reconciliation alone is worth the cost of the book - very thoughtful and inspiring.I bought the book because it was required reading for a class, but I know I will refer to it many times in the future.

The book was in shambles when I got it. However the content was all there. My teacher had insisted we needed the newest edition (over $100), but this edition had almost the exact same content just shuffled around.
